Happy New Year! We’re stepping into 2025 with hearts full of gratitude for all that God has done through For the Widow Ministries.

This month’s update is dedicated to our beloved Luisa who is now in Heaven and healed from her diabetes.

We are excited to share all of the amazing things happening with For the Widow Ministries! It has been wonderful to watch how God has worked through this ministry and blessed us in so many ways this Summer. This month we are sharing news about our next mission trip and our 2025 mission trip dates, our Ministry Truck fundraising campaign, an update on each of our widows, and church partnerships.

🏍️ Food Delivery on a Motorcycle 🏍️ Miqueas and his brother, Jeffery, deliver food and household items every month to all of our widows. The communities the widows are in are approximately 15 minutes away from Barahona Central. The issue is they deliver everything on a motorcycle. Yep, you read that right … two grown

Jungara has accepted Jesus, and we have added three new widows to the program… plus so many other wonderful things! Thanks for reading our April Update. We are dedicated to communicating monthly so you can rejoice with us in the work God is doing through this ministry. Sometimes, this means a lot of great news to share.

January has been a great start to the year for the widows ministry. Each widow received their food for the month and has participated in a group bible study with Miqueas and the other widows in their community.

In the Dominican Republic, Thanksgiving is celebrated on December 24th, followed by Christmas on the 25th. This year, on December 23rd, we provided food and festive decorations to each of the widows in our care!

Wow! October and November were amazing for the ministry and our new widows. Thanks to your support and generosity, we showed the widows God’s blessings by meeting several immediate needs and providing food for the month.
