Pray for the Widow

Believing in the power of prayer

For the Widow is a ministry based on Faith. While we believe in the importance of intentional planning, financial prudence, and wise choices, we also trust that the Lord is leading this ministry. That is why prayer partners are an essential part of supporting For the Widow.

Each quarter, we will have a list of specific ways you can pray for the widows, the community, and the ministry.

  • Pray for interest and planning for our June mission trip!
  • Praise the Lord for the salvation of one of our widows, Gloria!!
  • Pray for God to lead us to more widows in need that he wants us to support.
  • Pray for the salvation of our widows as our program director, Miqueas, continues to share with them in group bible study and individually.
  • Pray for donors who are willing to give monthly to the ministry.
  • Pray for our mission trip on March 2-9 and the dates and details of the remaining trips this year.
  • Pray for all of our new widows to be sponsored quickly so we can begin supporting them monthly.
  • Pray for the salvation of our widows as our program director, Miqueas, is sharing the gospel with them regularly. 
  • Pray for donors who are willing to give monthly to the ministry so we can meet some larger immediate needs of the widows. 
  • Pray for our planning efforts surrounding participants and dates in 2024 for mission trips. 
  • Pray for the development of church partnerships that allow us to continuing operating as a ministry.

 

  • Pray for God's blessing on the launch of this ministry.
  • Pray for our program director, Miqueas Julian, as he plans for our trip in September and continues to identify widows in need to be a part of the program.
  • Pray that God will prepare in advance the widows he wants us to serve.
  • Pray for the salvation of all of the widows that will be served through our program and for the salvation of the community around the widows as they see the work that God is doing.
  • Pray for sponsors for each individual widow.
  • Pray God will bring supporters into this ministry who will help us meet our goal of $50,000.
  • Pray for the safety and successful work of the leadership team as they prepare to travel to the Dominican Republic in September.
  • Pray that God's will be done in everything we do as a ministry.
